We use authentic surplus fabrics that meet all the required specifications, including NIR/IRR compliance*. Some of these fabrics are as old as the surplus gear you’d find on the market, but in brand-new condition – so you’re getting the same quality and print that the military uses, just without the wear and tear. All images below are roughly taken from the same distance for easy comparison. Certain prints may not always be available!

Commercial Patterns
We also offer a wide range of commercial camouflage patterns (not officially adopted by the military). The majority is made to the same military specifications as the surplus (sometimes even better!).
*NIR compliance only applies if the materials were originally produced that way – for instance, some surplus fabrics are so old that they were created before night vision technology became a thing, or were made from materials not intended to be NIR compliant – they may still perform adequately though . If you want to confirm how a specific fabric performs in the NIR / IRR spectrum, send us a message! Since we use a variety of fabric types across our products, we may substitute a non-surplus or commercial print that closely matches the intended design. Likewise, surplus fabrics may be used depending on availability and application, instead of commercial prints.
