Scout Smock

The Scout Smock is designed to serve as a lightweight outer layer that you can wear in both hot and cold climates. You can adjust your temperature using mid or base layers underneath, and depending on the fabric you choose, it’ll also protect you from wind and rain.

8 Pockets

All pockets feature safety mechanisms to keep your stuff secure. Our locking zippers won’t budge without a pull, and the buttoned pockets fold with the flap to prevent anything from slipping out the sides.

• 2x chest pockets (Slotted buttons).
• 2x waist pockets (Slotted buttons).
• 2x zippered sleeve pockets, each with internal pen loops.
• 2x zippered Napoleon pockets reaching up to the shoulders.

Adjustment

• Adjustable hem, waist, and hood (cord locks).
• Shape-able hood with bendable wire.
• Velcro-adjustable cuffs.
• Two-way YKK zipper opens from the top and bottom, so you can easily access items underneath the smock without needing to fully unzip it

Sizing

Refer to the [Size Charts / Guide] page for measuring instructions. The smock is generously cut to layer comfortably – choose your regular chest circumference if you plan on wearing fleece, vests or other layers underneath the smock. Choose one size down if you’ll primarily wear it over a shirt.

Water Resistant Fabrics (DWR)

The following fabrics have a DWR impregnation, which makes them rain-proof. While they’re not fully waterproof like a lined smock, they’ll handle light and medium rain – and even heavy rain for shorter periods.

Other fabrics can be made rainproof with a coat of fabric wax (available separately) or a custom waterproof lining (available upon request).
