Scout Smock [PRE-ORDERS]

The Scout Smock is the perfect outer layer built for year-round use. Wear it over just a shirt in summer, or add base and mid layers like fleece for winter. Depending on the chosen fabric, it’ll keep out wind and rain while staying breathable enough for movement.

Bundesheer Compatibility

The smock was designed to work directly with the new Austrian Army Tarnanzug uniform:

• Fully compatible with issued Bundesheer nametags, unit patches and rank loops
• Accepts Bundesheer elbow protector inserts (protectors inserts included)
• NIR/IRR compliant fabric – Effective camouflage against night vision devices according to official Bundesheer specifications.

11 Pockets

Every pocket is designed with safety in mind, so nothing slips out when you’re on the move. Locking zippers only open when pulled, and buttoned flaps fold in on themselves for extra security.

Customization & Adjustment

• Cord-adjustable hem, waist, and hood
• Shapeable hood with bendable metal wire
• Velcro-adjustable cuffs
• Two-way YKK zipper (top and bottom opening) for quick access to gear underneath, like plate carriers, without fully unzipping

Sizing

Refer to the [Size Charts / Guide] page for measuring instructions. The smock is cut generously for layering.

• Pick your regular chest size if you’ll wear it over fleece, vests, or other layers (best for winter use).
• Size down once if you’ll mostly wear it over just a shirt (best for summer use)

Water Resistant Fabrics (DWR)

The majority of fabrics have a DWR coating, making the smock rainproof. Non-DWR fabrics can be made rainproof through a textile wax or similar sprays.
