Size Charts/Guide

Unless mentioned otherwise, all the measurements are in centimeters (cm) and are body measurements, meaning these should be measured on your bare skin and not over any clothing!

Since we offer a broad range of sizes, it’s important to be accurate while measuring to get you the best fit. Take your time and get someone to help you if you can.

We recommend using a metric measuring tape, and it doesn’t hurt to check if it’s accurate. We found that there are often large discrepancies between different brands so always double check with a trusted measuring tool if there is any difference you need to keep into account. If you don’t have a metric measuring tape, use an online conversion tool.

If you are still unsure on how to measure correctly or which sizes might fit you best (especially if you fall between 2 sizes), contact us before placing your order. We are happy to help and have loads of experience from customer feedback.

1. Hats

Measure your head circumference:

The measuring tape should be held where the bottom edge of the head band would sit. Generally, this is 1 to 2 centimeters above your eyebrows/top of your ear, or the widest part of your head.

All the hats we offer are tailored in 1 cm steps, ranging from 54 cm all the way up to 64 cm. Sizes that don’t fall into the range of 54-64 cm can be custom made, if you fall into that category select the option custom and let us know which size you need in the order notes during the checkout.

Examples:

1. You measure 59.4 cm, making both size 59 and 60 a good candidate. If you would like your hat to have a tighter fit, choose the size 59. We always recommend choosing the bigger size (in that case 60).

2. You measure 61 or 61.2 cm. In that case, choose size 61.

2. Pants

Measure your waist circumference:

Take your measuring tape and wrap it around your waist or where the top of your pants/your belt would normally sit.

Measure your Inseam:

Measure the inseam from your crotch to the bottom of the floor, then deduct 2 cm. This is your inseam.

Examples:

1. You measure 92 cm for your waist circumference and 82 cm from your crotch to the floor. After deducting 2 cm, the correct inseam would be 80 cm. In that case, size 88-92 will be a perfect fit for your waist circumference. For the inseam, choose 80.

2. You measure 85cm for your waist and 82cm for your inseam. In that case, choose 84-88 for your waist circumference. The size 80-84 might also fit if you like a tighter fit, but we always recommend going with the bigger size just to be safe. With the inseam being 82 cm, the option custom would be a great choice! Select the option custom for your inseam in the drop down menu and let us know which size you need in the order notes during the checkout.

3. Tops

Measure your chest circumference:

Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest in a relaxed state, just below the armpits.

Measure your arm length:

Take the measuring tape and place it at the start of your neck or the collar of a shirt, then guide it down to the point of where you want the sleeve/cuff of the shirt to end. This is generally 1 or 2 centimeters below the wrist.

3.1 Smocks

The smock is generously cut to layer comfortably. Choose your regular chest circumference if you plan on wearing fleece, vests or other layers underneath. Choose one size down if you’ll primarily wear it over a shirt or use it in warmer climates.

4. Belts

Measure the total belt length:

1. Measure the waist circumference directly on top of the pants you will be wearing. Loop the measuring tape through the belt loops just as if the measuring tape was a belt. This is your belt circumference.

2. Measure the excess length. The excess length is the leftover part of the belt, starting from where the belt buckle would sit (or the zipper fly), all the way to where you want the belt to end (this is generally all the way to the first belt loop + a few centimeters for good measure)

The total belt length is the waist circumference + the excess length.

Example:

You measure 90 cm for your waist circumference and 15 cm for the excess length. If you add those 2 measurements, you get a total of 105 cm. This is the total belt length that you need to input into the product text field!
