How to Measure for the Best Fit
All measurements are in centimeters (cm) and should be taken on your bare skin, not over clothing.
Since we offer a broad range of sizes, accuracy is key. Take your time, and if possible, get someone to help you. We recommend using a metric measuring tape. Check that it is accurate, as discrepancies between brands are common. If you don’t have a metric tape, you can use an online conversion tool.
If you’re unsure how to measure correctly or which size is best (especially if you fall between sizes), contact us before ordering. We’re happy to help and have plenty of experience from customer feedback.
Pants
Measure your waist circumference:
-
Wrap the measuring tape around your waist or where the top edge of your pants/belt normally sits.
Measure your inseam:
-
Version 1: Measure from your crotch to the floor, then deduct 2 cm. This is your inseam. As a reference, you can also measure the inseam on a pair of pants that fits you well.
Examples:
-
Waist = 92 cm, Inseam = 82 cm → Deduct 2 cm → Inseam = 80 cm. Size 88–92 fits waist; choose inseam 80.
-
Waist = 85 cm, Inseam = 82 cm → Size 84–88 fits waist; inseam 82.
-
Size 80–84 might also fit if you prefer a tighter waist.
-
For a perfect inseam fit, choose custom inseam in the dropdown and note your measurement during checkout.

BUNDESHEER Size Guide
IMPORTANT
Do not use the bundesheer sizing for our pants! The ÖBH system uses chest circumference (Oberweite) for labeling their pants, not waist circumference. Use the chart below for reference. Measure according to the size guide to be 100% sure.
WAIST
ÖBH Size Waist circumference Recommended Size 80-84 72 cm 76-80 88-92 82 cm 80-84 96-100 88 cm 84-88 104-108 98 cm 96-100 112-116 108 cm 104-108 120-124 116 cm 112-116

ÖBH Inseam Recommended Size I-II 70 cm 75 (Short) III-IV 76 cm 75 (Short) V-VI 82 cm 80 Regular VII-VIII 88 cm 90 (Xlong)
Hats
Measure your head circumference:
-
Place the measuring tape where the bottom edge of the headband would sit (generally 1–2 cm above your eyebrows/top of your ears or the widest part of your head).
Examples:
-
You measure 59.4 cm → Sizes 59 and 60 are possible. Choose 59 for a tighter fit or 60 for a slightly looser fit (recommended).
-
You measure 61–61.2 cm → Choose size 61.

Tops
(1)Measure your chest circumference:
-
Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest in a relaxed state, just below the armpits.
(2)Measure your arm length (2):
-
Place the tape at the start of your neck or shirt collar, then measure down to where you want the sleeve/cuff to end (generally 1–2 cm below the wrist).
Smocks
-
Smocks are generously cut for layering, meaning they are larger than the ordered Chest circumference.
-
Choose your regular chest circumference if you plan on wearing thicker layers such as fleece or other jackets underneath.
-
Choose 1 size smaller when you plan on wearing thin clothing underneath (for example a shirt, only for warmer climate use).
Belts
Measure the total belt length:
-
Measure your waist circumference directly on top of the pants you’ll wear. Loop the tape through belt loops like a belt.
-
Measure the excess length from the buckle to where you want the belt to end (usually past the first belt loop).
-
Add the two measurements → total belt length.
Example:
-
Waist = 90 cm, Excess length = 15 cm → Total belt length = 105 cm. Input this in the product field.
